Sun damage, rosacea, and simply having very fair skin can cause tiny visible blood vessels (telangiectasia) on the face, especially on the cheeks or creases beside the nose. Dr. Alison Black and Cheryl Sundlov, PA-C use the Auraâ„¢ KTP laser to remove these broken blood vessels. Treatment usually is done in a series of 1-3 treatments, with minimal or no downtime. For extensive telangiectasia and sun damage, Intense Pulsed Light treatment can be used in conjunction with the KTP laser.
Call Las Colinas Dermatology at 972.432.0300 and we will be glad to answer any questions and schedule a consultation with Dr. Alison Black or Cheryl Sundlov, PA-C to see how KTP laser treatment can improve the appearance of your telangiectasia.
