Sun damage, rosacea, and simply having very fair skin can cause tiny visible blood vessels (telangiectasia) on the face, especially on the cheeks or creases beside the nose. Dr. Alison Black, Brooke Smart, FNP and Cheryl Sundlov, PA-C use the Aura™ KTP laser to remove these broken blood vessels. Treatment usually is done in a series of 1-3 treatments, with minimal or no downtime. For extensive telangiectasia and sun damage, Intense Pulsed Light treatment can be used in conjunction with the KTP laser.
