Dr. Alison Black, a board-certified dermatologist, is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and then completed her internship and dermatology residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and U.T. Southwestern Medical School. In 1995 she began her dermatology practice in Las Colinas, providing treatment of disorders of the skin, hair, and nails for adults and children, in addition to providing state-of-the-art cosmetic, laser, and surgical treatment. Dr. Black resides in Dallas with her husband. Her interests include golf and French travel, language, and cuisine.
Dr. Black is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, and the Dallas Dermatological Society.
