SKINVIVE is FDA-approved for patients over the age of 21 and is safe for all skin types, genders, and skin tones, regardless of your skin concerns. This treatment adds instant hydration to the skin for up to 6 months, leaving the skin hydrated, glowing, and healthy.

SKINVIVE is a minimally invasive treatment with little to no downtime. It works synergistically with other cosmetic treatments like Botox, lasers, dermal fillers, and DiamondGlow facials. SKINVIVE can easily be added to your next Botox or DiamondGlow treatment and it takes only about 10-15 minutes.

Like other dermal injections, stay clear of any blood-thinning medications and supplements for 7 days prior to your appointment to decrease swelling and bruising. Examples include aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, and fish oil. Additionally, avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment as it is also a blood thinner. If you’re prone to bruising easily, ask us about taking arnica supplements before your treatment.

The treatment only takes 10-15 minutes. Dr. Alison Black or Cheryl Sundlov, PA-C will determine the amount you will need to see the best results. The treatment area is then cleansed and marked for injection sites. SKINVIVE droplets are then injected into the injection sites. This treatment may be an add-on to your Botox or DiamondGlow appointment and it is relatively painless, so generally speaking, there is no need for numbing. SKINVIVE treatment feels similar to Botox/Dysport injections.

Like other injections, you may experience redness, swelling, lumps and bumps, bruising, tenderness, and itching in the injected area, all of which is normal, and can last up to 2 days. You will begin seeing your SKINVIVE results 1-3 weeks after your treatment, and these results can last up to 6 months.

There is little to no downtime with SKINVIVE and patients can resume their daily routines immediately after the treatment. Avoid exercising and makeup for the first 24 hours of your treatment to avoid swelling, bruising, and other complications. Follow the aftercare instructions provided by Dr. Alison Black and Cheryl Sundlov, PA-C for optimal results.
