CMS (Center for Medicare Services) has proposed a major change in the way dermatologists and other doctors practice, starting in 2027. The penalties they are proposing for doctors who perform minor procedures on the same day as an office visit will cause our Medicare patients significant inconvenience and higher costs ultimately.
