When I went in for my appointment with Dr. Black on October 23, I was concerned about an unusual red spot next to my left nasolabial fold and wanted to review my skin care regimen to be sure it was up to date. Dr. Black always takes the time to address any issues a patient has, and I was able to leave with all my questions answered. She has done everything for me from removing scar tissue and re-piercing my right ear to IPL Laser Treatment to remove a good sized red strip on my right cheek from the carelessness of an anesthesiologist in ripping tape off my face to remove the tube down my throat following surgery. Following the IPL Laser Treatments, my skin was restored to the way it was before. Since we had not reviewed my skin care regimen in two years, Dr. Black made a few changes, which will actually shorten the time required to keep my skin in the best possible condition. As I am aging, my skin is thinning, and one of the new products she recommended increases collagen in the skin. The variety of treatments and products available to Dr. Black allow her to met the needs of any type of skin problem. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Black. A number of years ago he had melanoma in situ, so a great dermatologist is a must for him. Over the years we have been going to Dr. Black, she has removed a number of pre-cancerous growths from his face and arm. My husband and I are of the age where sunscreen was unheard of when we were children. Dr. Black was referred to us after the dermatologist I had been going to for 20 years retired. From the first time my husband and I met her, we knew we would have so many more options with her and were pleased with how personable and professional she is. The relationship Dr. Black has with her team is ideal. Everyone who joins the team is trained on every type of procedure, and the computerized records make it easy for anyone who assists her to locate any problem we have had, product we have used, or procedure we have had done. Skin care is extremely important to me, and thanks to Dr. Black, I receive many compliments on my facial skin. Patients who keep up with checkups and use products Dr. Black recommends will be extremely pleased with the condition of their skin. Recently I learned from another source that to even be admitted to a residency program in dermatology, a medical school graduate must be in the top 5% of the graduating class. In that elite group Dr. Black is among the finest.
I absolutely love this clinic Dr. Brooke Smart is a the best she has really improved my skin. I used to break out so bad but she tried different stuff to put me on until she found what was good for mine. Any question i had she was great in explaining every thing to me. I normally do not do ratings but she really deserves it. MY SKIN IS SO SOFT AND I’M CONFIDENT WITH MYSELF! KNOW THAT SHE HAS CLEARED ME ALL UP. I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH ACNE SINCE THE AGE OF 12 AND KNOW THAT I’M AN ADULT AND HAVE FOUND DR. SMART I HAVE CLEAR SKIN! SHE IS THE BEST!! SHE TAKES HER TIME TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUE IS WITH YOUR SKIN. I HAVE BEEN TO OTHER DERMATOLOGIST AND NO ONE HAS GAVE ME THE ATTENTION AND TIME THAT DR. SMART GIVES HER PATIENCE! IF YOU ARE READING THIS I REALLY RECOMMEND HER. Best Dermatoligist I have ever been to. She listens to your issues, explains everything fully and then her nurse goes over it again. If you have something that needs biopsied she does it right then. No making another appointment to come back for the process. They call within days with results. She is never rushed or make you feel that she is preoccupied with whats next. Just very relaxed comfortable experience.

The doctors and staff are always warm, courteous and professional. I have been a patient for several years and consistent experiences are the norm with this practice. That is hard to achieve these days with turnover, etc.
